Dr. Victor Kamoen is sinds 1 november 2024 aan de slag als cardioloog in AZ Delta. Hij specialiseerde zich tot cardioloog met opleidingsjaren in het AZ Sint Andries Tielt, AZ Maria Middelares Gent, AZ Delta Roeselare en het Universitair Ziekenhuis in Gent. Daarnaast behaalde hij een master in sportgeneeskunde en een doctoraat in de biomedische wetenschappen onder promotie van Prof F Timmermans (2020, UGent). Zijn doctoraatsonderzoek richtte zich op de beoordeling van de ernst van mitralisklepinsufficiëntie.
Naast algemene cardiologie, focust hij zich specifiek op de niet-invasieve beeldvorming van het hart, sportcardiologie en cardiale revalidatie

Dr. Sibel Altintas is a cardiologist who completed her specialization at Maastricht UMC+ in 2023, after obtaining her PhD at the Maastricht University in 2023, with a focus on cardiac CT for individualized risk stratification.
She works at AZ Vesalius and Hartcentrum Hasselt, specializing in cardiovascular imaging, heart failure, cardiac rehabilitation, and cardiovascular prevention. Dr. Altintas is an active member of the Belgian Working Group on Prevention and Cardiac Rehabilitation and the Belgian Heart Failure Working Group. In 2024, she completed the comprehensive two-year Postgraduate Course in Heart Failure (London) and successfully passed the European Heart Failure Exam. Her clinical work integrates research expertise and focuses on personalized cardiovascular care and prevention.

After obtaining his cardiology degree at UCL in 2024, Dr Jean-Baudouin Van Leeuw started working as cardiologist at the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi (GHDC). He is also currently completing a fellowship in cardiac rehabilitation at Jessa Ziekenhuis in Hasselt. His main area of interest is preventive cardiology. In 2025, he obtained a diploma in sports cardiology at the University of Montpellier (France), as well as the EAPC certification in preventive cardiology.
