Young Investigator Award

Honoring Innovation and Discovery in Cardiology

Each year, the BSC awards two Young Investigator Awards (YIA), each honored by a prize of 6.500 €. These awards celebrate individuals whose work brings fresh insights and meaningful advances to basic or clinical cardiology.

During the BSC Congress, a dedicated YIA session highlights the top submissions in both categories—basic and clinical—and provides a stage for finalists. Among these finalists, one outstanding contribution in each category receives the award. 

The application period runs from June to Sept. together with the abstract submissions.
