The transversal role of the task force is to:
- Inform BSC entities and its members on the current status and regional implementation of AI across Belgium
- Identify the technical and regulatory challenges in Belgian health care landscape for AI-implementations
- Set-up training opportunities for cardiologists to integrate validated AI-applications safely into their clinical practice
The Task Force members will:
- Define the role of the Task Force within the BSC and its key priorities
- Develop and execute strategies and initiatives to tackle AI challenges
- Develop an educational curriculum on AI in cardiology
- Engage in regular meetings
- Represent BSC in the ESC AI task force

The transversal role of the task force is to:
- Identify knowledge gaps and initiate (multicenter) research focused on gender-related differences in epidemiology and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Identify and eliminate systemic biases and institutional barriers that limit women’s full participation in cardiovascular medicine
- Ensure that sex and gender considerations are integrated into clinical practice, research, and advocacy
The Task Force members will:
- Define the role of the Task Force within the BSC and its key priorities
- Develop and support education on sex- and gender-sensitive cardiology for healthcare professionals in training and continuing education
- Increase awareness about gender bias in diagnosis, treatment, and research, and implementing concrete actions through awareness campaigns
- Develop and execute strategies and initiatives to tackle gender inequality in the cardiology profession
- Engage in regular meetings
- Represent BSC in the ESC Gender task force
