We are delighted to invite you to the 46th Annual Congress of the Belgian Society of Cardiology, the most important scientific cardiology event in Belgium. This congress brings together cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular specialists, researchers, cardiac nurses and other healthcare professionals interested in cardiovascular diseases from across the country.

Cardiology has always stood at the forefront of medical innovation. Today we are witnessing a transformation that extends far beyond new drugs, devices, and procedures. Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of our daily lives—shaping how we communicate, learn, travel, and make decisions. Healthcare and cardiology are no exception. Across the entire cardiovascular continuum, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and long-term patient management, AI is opening new possibilities to improve outcomes, enhance efficiency, and personalize care. Recognizing this profound shift, the European Society of Cardiology has placed digital health and artificial intelligence at the heart of its scientific strategy, educational programmes, and congress activities. AI and digital technologies are transforming cardiology by enabling earlier detection of disease, supporting clinical decision-making, advancing precision medicine, and creating new opportunities for patient-centred care. As BSC we therefore decided to dedicate our 2027 Congress to the theme "Future in Every Heartbeat: Cardiology, AI, and Beyond".

Building on the success of previous years, this year’s congress once again features a comprehensive program designed to engage and educate professionals across the cardiology field. We are privileged to have an outstanding faculty of both international and national speakers who present the latest advances in clinical cardiovascular care and scientific cardiovascular research.
