Tom Robberechts graduated as Nephrologist at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2019 and currently works at the Department of Nephrology and Arterial Hypertension at the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel.
As head of the UZ Brussel’s Hypertension Unit and board member of the Belgian Hypertension Committee, his main clinical and scientific focus lies within the domain of arterial hypertension.

Sharony Vrijsen graduated as a nurse in 2017 and gained seven years of experience in the emergency department, where she developed broad clinical expertise. In 2024, she obtained her Master’s degree in Nursing Science from KU Leuven. Since then, she has been working as a Nurse Specialist in Bleeding Disorders at UZ Leuven. Her focus is on the holistic care of both adult and pediatric patients with bleeding disorders. Together with a multidisciplinary team, she is committed to improving outcomes and healthcare for patients with bleeding disorders.

I am Anke Verbruggen. I worked for four years as a nurse in the neurology and stroke unit. Since October, I have been working as a stroke nurse specialist. In my current role, I focus on improving care and outcomes for stroke patients, monitoring risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes, and providing education about them. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal stroke care.
