I am Dr Caroline Piette, a cardiologist at the University Hospital CHU Sart Tilman in Liège, Belgium.
My clinical activity is focused on the implantation of intracardiac devices and the ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.
I am also involved in ongoing research projects in the field of atrial fibrillation.
In addition to my clinical and research work, I am engaged in teaching and mentoring young physicians and trainees in cardiology.

Quentin DESIRON is a cardiac surgeon (CHU Liege, Belgium). He has developed a lead extraction program since 2010 after a specific formation in Italy and Sweden. He has practiced lead extraction by simple sheaths, mechanical devices and femoral workstation in more than 350 patients. He has also a very huge expertise in cardiac stimulator implantation (more than 3000 patients).

His expertise has focused on rhythmology in the field of interventional electrophysiology, cardiac pacing, and cardiac imaging. He is a member of the cardiovascular research unit of the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Research at UCLouvain. In 2019, he was awarded a clinical researcher mandate to support the TRIATLON research project, which will lead to the defense of a PhD thesis in medical science. He is also professor at UCLouvain university.
