Arantxa González holds a PhD in Biochemistry and is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Spain. She leads the Heart Failure Research Group at CIMA, University of Navarra, where she also holds an academic appointment. With over 25 years of experience investigating myocardial remodeling in heart failure, her research focuses on extracellular matrix alterations and fibrosis, aiming to identify underlying pathophysiological mechanisms and non-invasive circulating biomarkers. She has authored more than 200 scientific publications, with an h-index of 73 (Google Scholar), and has led over 20 national and international research projects.

Nicholas Cauwenberghs is a cardiovascular epidemiologist at the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences of the University of Leuven. His research focuses on improving the detection and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in the community. For this, he develops accessible screening methods and applies machine learning on -omics and imaging data for personalised risk stratification

Dr. Marin Boute is a cardiologist in training at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc and a PhD researcher focusing on structural valve degeneration in aortic bioprostheses, with an emphasis on multimodality imaging. He has a strong interest in data analysis and will further specialize in rhythmology
