Bo Daelman obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Biomedical Sciences from Hasselt University. She is currently pursuing a PhD at KU Leuven. Her research focuses on aging in patients with congenital heart disease, with a particular emphasis on telomere length as a biomarker of aging. In addition, she investigates the functional consequences (e.g., frailty and cognitive impairment) and potential predictors of aging. Through this research, she aims to improve the understanding of premature aging processes and their clinical implications in this growing patient population.
