The Belgian Society of Cardiology (BSC) is seeking dedicated professionals to join the newly created Artificial Intelligence Task Force for the upcoming 2026–2028 term.
The transversal role of the task force is to:
- Inform BSC entities and its members on the current status and regional implementation of AI across Belgium
- Identify the technical and regulatory challenges in Belgian healthcare landscape for AI-implementations
- Set-up training opportunities for cardiologists to integrate validated AI-applications safely into their clinical practice
Tasks
- Define the role of the Task Force within the BSC and key priorities.
- Develop and execute strategies and initiatives to tackle AI challenges.
- Develop an educational curriculum on AI in cardiology
- Engage in regular meetings (approx. 4/year).
- Represent BSC in the ESC Digital Cardiology and Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) Committee
Tenure
- These new members will be assigned for the period of 2 years.
